stab Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 Ok.I start to feel really stupid. I messed upp some of my files and desided to reinstall(I just upgraded my webhotel service to be able to get dedicated IP) When I first installed I used something in my webservice called easy app where I installed oscommerse and set up mydb name password etc. That time It installed everything in a map called oscommerse2 so my path would be www.mydomain.com/oscommerce2/catalog.(the instalation was on a subdomain and I desided that I wanted it on my main domain without that oscommerce2 folder). I tried to install as described in the quick install but I got stuck on the databas server (even if I tried localhost or, the hostname of the databas server(which I can se in my MySQL database management so I knew what to write.) So I tried to install from within my conrtoll panel of my domain at my webhotel and it installed fine BUT my admin folder resides outside the catalog folder.... Does this make any difference???? should I..Could I just move it inside the catalog folder??? I kinda don't want to do anything until I know what to do with this... Thanks.
