Guest Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 Currently, I have the admin area setup so only I can access it. But, now I need the customer to be able to access it, too. Is there a way to add a user to the ADMIN area? Thanks...

The reason I ask is that in the same section where you locked the directory "/catalog/admin/" you also have the opportunity to create another user. I know the most common control Panels such as Webmin, Plesk and CPanel allow this ;)
insomniac2 Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 There are a few mods which can do that for you. The newest most up to date one is Admin Access v2.2a Link: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...rch,Multi+Admin

The thing is, when I installed OSCommerce, it was a built in application on the server, so I just poked a button & it automatically installed. Now, the application area is gone, so I have no clue what to do. Thanks... Brian

It appears that it allows access to certain products etc. Can someone clarify this for me please. Cheers Allan Young
