HTML pages or database pages

Hi

With OSC what page format is best HTML or database. What are the pros and cons. Is thers any design and storeage differences. Does googls find HTML easier.

I wasn't aware an option was offered with oscommerce?

 

In anycase, from my understanding, generally HTML is more easily read by bots than php pages as bots spend a limited time per page.

osc only spits out html code so I do not grasp the question.

I didn't either. I thought what was being asked was the difference between .html and .php? osCommerce pages are .php with embedded html.

Maybe i do not fully understand OSC yet but i am trying. Most OSC sites have php pages but some have HTML pages, why. HTML pages seem to have a far superior rating with Google. Any feedback.

If you see an oscommerce site with url's ending in html, it is probably due to one of the search engine friendly url's. If you add straight html files to an oscommerce shop, it can cause a problem within the shop and should be avoided.
