Changing the shop appearance?

I've seen some very nice shops that look significantly different from the default layout.

However, upon doing some reading, it seems like OSCommerce is not based on a layout template system.

 

So my question is, how did these shops alter their appearance? Where can I find the main layout html?

There are two contributions which allow you to work on a template layer. They are called : Simple Template System and Basic Template System.

 

Do a search for either one of these in the conribution section.
