Add shipping cost later?

Hello,

I'm trying to set up a site for a family member and I've run into a bit of a roadblock:

 

Basically he wants to be able to add the shipping price after he's notified of a sale.

 

So he gets an email that tells him what they ordered (invoice?), and then he finds out which of the freights he uses is cheapest, and then notifys that person through email how much it is going to cost.

 

I've been scouring through the contribs all afternoon and I haven't found anything I think would do that. Is there a way to do something like that with OSCommerce?

 

Any help would be greatly appericiated.
