Trying to decipher colours - please help me

Hello,

I feel very silly asking as this seems an obvious question to me and therefore I must be not looking in the right spot but....

I want to change the colours within my store but I cannot seem to find an explanation of the background/colour #numbers and what colour this will represent when changed?

How do I find out what colours the numbers represent in the stylesheet file? I've sifted through and found heaps of topics on how to change the look of the store with stylesheet and what each section of stylesheet file represents but to me they are just numbers beside the background and colour lines.

I am very new to this and would appreciate any help

I have been entering colour definitions in my search thinking I can't get any more basic in my request than that but no luck as yet.

Thank you in advance

Hi Belinda

Search google for colour(color) codes or hexadecimal codes. I found a few good sites, which told you the number & colour it represents. Then change the relevant ones in your css.

Hope that helps.

Hello,

Do you use Mozilla Firefox Browser?

If so, install the ColorZilla Extension.

It's a great tool to check (find codes for) colours on a webpage
