Subject: ORVIS PRESENTATION IV REEL & SPOOL> for fly fishing rod About international Paypal. Hello John here. Paypal says they will not honor your payment. They say that they can and will take it back anytime for any reason. They say they will honor your payment only if you are elligible for their seller protection plan. Only those from the United kingdom Canada and The USA are elligible for their seller protection plan. With out the seller protection plan they will not honor your payment. If I sell something I want to keep the payment. I do not want to have to give it back to paypal after I have sent you the goods. With out the seller protection plan Paypal will not honor your payment. If you want to talk to paypal about this be my guest. With out the seller protection plan Paypal will not honor your payment. I have sent you other methods of payment. This has nothing to do with me. It is between you and paypal. Without the seller protection plan Paypal will not honor your payment and I cannot ship. I can give you another email to send payment tto but then again without the seller protection plan Paypal will not honor your payment and I cannot ship.Pleas send by one of the other methoods I have suggested ...MONEY GRAM ,Cashiers check or money order from a Canadian or USA BANK or a Bank affiliated with a US or Can bank, or Western Union money transfer made out to [*Personally Identifiable Information removed*]. running wolf Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 If a USA seller accepts paypal paymants from outside the USA he is not protected in no way and the buyer can go for a chargeback anytime and the USA seller is out of the money and the merchandise. I do not accept paypal payments from outside USA unless the customer is a regular and trustworthy. Kristine Running Wolf

benectar Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 If a USA seller accepts paypal paymants from outside the USA he is not protected in no way and the buyer can go for a chargeback anytime and the USA seller is out of the money and the merchandise.I do not accept paypal payments from outside USA unless the customer is a regular and trustworthy. Dude, chargeback is there for a reason, to protect the buyer from scams. What if you cash the check and never ship the good? You can't trust him and he can't trust you, the deal will never happen. I see PayPal's "Seller Protection Program" as an additional protection, on top of the normal dispute process, in which both parties are asked to show proofs. In countries where SPP is not offered, I would simply buy insurance (you can pass the cost to the buyer). This way, you can show the receipt during the dispute process and worse case, ask the carrier to cover the lost. Credit cards don't have SPP, you are left holding the bag if you lose the dispute. Be grateful what PayPal offer.
