cedarcreek Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 First off, I didn't build this store, someone else did, and I'm in charge of fixing it! <_< The store was modified with the MVS mod, and seemed to work great. Then we had someone install the Credit Class/ Gift Card /Coupon Voucher mod. Well, the two mods clashed. The same person then tried to "reverse" the CGV mod, and ended up breaking part of the MVS mod. Here's what's happening: 1) Major parts of the PO that is sent to the vendor(s) are missing: - "Special Comments or Instructions" section is missing - The entire "From" portion is missing, so the vendor only has the email address of the store owner with this PO - Dropship number section is missing - Shipping method is missing - "Dropship to:" section is missing Basically, EVERYTHING is missing from the emailed PO to the vendor, except for: - "Customer Order Comments" - and the table at the bottom with the order contents In which file or files does this vendor email get created, and what should I be looking for to fix the missing info? As it is, the store owner has to recognize when a new order has gone through, and he has to gather up all this missing info from the admin panel and email it separately to the vendor. HUGE PITA! Other issues: 2) Instead of the store owner getting just one email confirming a sale, he's getting 2. 3) When a customer forgets their account password, and they click the link to send the password to their email, that email is not being sent either! That's it for now, sorry for the lengthy post. If anyone can at least point me in the right direction...which files would be the main culprits, etc. I would really appreciate it. Please let me know if I need to give more information. Thank you! Quote
Guest Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 if you kept regular backup of the store you could use them before the ccgv. Otherwise you have to go step by step and reverse the instructions of the ccgv installation. Typically this should not happend because you integrate a contribution over the existing files. You do not override them. Always use the manual installation instructions. Quote
