webhost disk space

Hi I am building a pay per download site...

I noticed my webhost charges about $20per month for another 100mb. I figure that is expensive.

 

Other than moving hosts...can I redirect the download link so that the downloads reside on another server.

 

Can anyone confirm this setup and reccommend a free or inexpensive server for internet storage??
