DVBHardware Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 I have found a bit of trouble with cookies on my local development using firefox 1.5.0.2. Obviously many or most of us have a local servers for development and or contribution testing before ftping updates to our live stores. For some reason I cannot add to cart using firefox due to cookies not being set, IE is fine but since the new firefox just for some reason cannot get it to work. I keep getting the cookie usage osc prompt Yes I have everything in the osc config set correctly,, set cookie usage > false. Just wanted to see if anyone else having the same problem,, and please make note before upgrading to the new above version. Jimmy I'm not a coder just a splicer.
radders Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 My local development site works OK in 1.5.0.2 (but I have left the cookie path in the config file set to the remote site. Not sure if this makes a difference)

DVBHardware Posted April 26, 2006 Author Posted April 26, 2006 Found the problem on doing a compare 2 backups ago. I was definatly Updated spiders.txt Updated 2006-04-2 or Updated 2006-04-15 The problem goes away with Updated 2006-03-31 Jimmy I'm not a coder just a splicer.
stevel Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 I would expect the opposite. The 3/31 file would cause this problem and others would not. Steve Contributions: Country-State Selector Login Page a la Amazon Protection of Configuration Updated spiders.txt Embed Links with SID in Description
