Downloadable Files - off site storage - is it possible?

I'm setting up a site, and am using the Downloads Manager, and have no problems with it. Just a question..

 

Is it possible to store my downloadable files off site at another one of my websites? Reason being is I have access for file storage on one server without limitations or bandwidth considerations, and have about 1 gig of downloadable content that I want to make available.

 

If this is possible, how is it setup?
