Product Images

I created a new product, and then I used the browse button to find an image on my local PC to be associated with the product. I then click the Preview button (and I do not see the image), then I click the Updage button, and I still do not see the image. I think it is not being uploaded.

 

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

 

Can I upload into the hosted directory and then point to that graphic in some way?

Have you set the correct permissions on your images directory?

 

chmod 777 is the one in the documentation.

 

Is the file corupt on your machine?

 

I had a problem with the .htaccess, but if you are seeing all the othe rimages, then it wouldn't be that.

 

Yes you can upload as per normal and put them upload via FTP..

 

You can put it into the Root images directory and then set the filename in the inventory, however, if you want to put them into some other directory, then downloading and updated the SQl will probably be involved.
