How do I get the Products Attributes to work , I can only get it to put in 1 drop down box. I Nee to put in 2 boxes 1 for sizes & 1 for colors

How do I get the Products Attributes to work , I can only get it to put in 1 drop down box. I Nee to put in 2 boxes 1 for sizes & 1 for colors

 

In your admin area, go to "catalog / product attributes":

 

1) Under Product Options: Set up the Product Option "size", click insert

2) Under Product Values: In Option Values, set up the various sizes, first selecing "size" in the option name drop-down, click insert

3) Under Product Options: set up the product option "color", click insert

4) Under Product Values: In option values, set up the various colours, first selecting "color" in the option name drop-down, click insert

5) Under Product Attributes: in product attributes, select the product and then add each option name & option value that you want to show for this product, click insert

6) repeat (5) for each product which has attributes

 

It's quite a slow process, but patience will get you there!

PS: there are also various contributions for attributes available if you're looking to assign stock quantities to attributes or if you want a faster way to add attributes.
