The only thing in my index.html is a redirect to the oscomerce page to make it the index Page, so now what do I do? nobody seems to know. This is the first time building a page and I'm about to have a melt down.

This is the first time building a page and I'm about to have a melt down. Well you could add them to your includes/header.php file but then your tags will be the same for every page on your site. If you want all your product pages to be indexed then you need to have a different set of tags and a different page title for each of your pages so I would suggest you instal the header tags contribution. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?
