no request for user name or password

i dont seem to have a login pop up for the admin section of Os .the admin just opens up without requesting any user or password , this not only om the stand alone but any pc that opens the admin page

You yourself have to password protect the admin. Most webhosts let you password protect directories from the cpanel. Go to your cpanel and look for password protect directory. It should be pretty self explanatory. If your host does not have that ability, then search the forum for this, because I have seen it several times.

You could also contact your host and they should do it over the phone. (if you picked a good webhost company) Hope that helps!
