Force Cookie Usage on domain and/or subdomain

I looked up the knowledge base on

and I found a topic on Force cookie usage.

 

but I do not see my question answered there, so if someone know, please share the answer.

 

<b>The Problem</b>

I want to use Force Cookies and for that I need to get a secure https server domain.

 

I have the idea to run my shop right now on a subdomain

shopping.my_domain.com

 

<b>Question:</b>

Do I have to get now a secure https server domain for

 

ssl.shopping.my_domain.com

 

or can I get it for

 

ssl.my_domain.com

 

What will work with osc 2.2MS2 ?

 

Personally I hope to be able to use ssl.my_domain.com and can run an other osc-shop under an other subdomain (like computer.my_domain.com).
