Installing..error in SQL syntax - step 2

Hi,

 

When going to install osCommerce, at step 2 the following error message is returned..

 

"Database Import

 

A test connection made to the database was NOT successful.

 

The error message returned is:

You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '.co.uk' at line 1

 

Please click on the Back button below to review your database server settings.

 

If you require help with your database server settings, please consult your hosting company."

 

I'm not sure what to do,

db server address is usually localhost and not your domain name.
