xXDesertRoseXx Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Hi everyone :) I've run into a spot of trouble and was wondering if anyone could assist. I'm getting the following error message: Fatal error: Cannot pass parameter 3 by reference in /usr/www/users/webwol/catalog/includes/modules/product_listing.php on line 13 This happended after I starting deleting the default sample listing of manufactures so that I could add my own. After I had deleted the last one - I got the error message. I tried to fix this but coudn't :( so I decided to reinstall the OSC but I still seem now getting the same error. I would appreciate it very much if someone could help. Rose The strong survive BUT the best succeed !! 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax

Wendy James Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 If you are still having this issue you could get the manufactures information from the oscommerce.sql file and add it back into your database, then edit as needed. xXDesertRoseXx Posted April 22, 2006 Author Posted April 22, 2006 Hi Wendy, Thank You for that bit of info. I tried that but to no avail :( - didn't work. I did a complete fresh install of OSC and it's still showing the same error. I find that when I click on the subcategories of the products and the manufacturers - I get the error. I'm wondering if this has not got something to do with the version of PHP or MySQL ? I'm totally stumped now - I have absolutely no idea what to do and even more now that the fresh install did not work :( Rose The strong survive BUT the best succeed !! 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax
