Dual pricing and products on same page

Hi,

 

I've tried scanning the forum and going through the contributions but can't find an answer to the problem I need to solve.

 

I'm selling recordings available on CD and MP3 but they have different prices. I also sell e-books and bound manuals which again have different prices (downloads are cheaper).

 

Is there any way I can merge the product descriptions but still have an option to buy either a CD or an MP3?

 

I get fed up putting the same descriptions in for two different products.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
