mtjl79 Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Basically, no one of on the contribution support forum has helped me, so I guess I have to go into this blind... I downloaded and install excel import 1.51. I need to customize the excel.php to my stores specific product information. I have different product info catagories added like (date, mint, grade etc.) take a look usrarecoins.net/catalog I need to be able to fill out the excel file so I can include these and upload them. I have 1000's of products that need to be added, I they NEED to be up. So if someone can help me and walk me through exactly how I am able to do this, please let me know. I know I am asking for a lot, but i am desperate and have been trying to work this out for over a week. I am frustrated and tired and no one has been able to help so far so PLEASE help me out guys. Wendy James Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Mike, The reason you may not be getting help is because adding all of those fields takes more than just adding them to the excel file. I would think you have to add them to the database, and add code on the product page to call for the extra information. Then you would have to edit the excel.php file. If it was me, I would add the extra product info contribution, then use the easy populate. I do not know anything about the contribution you are trying to use but easy populate lets you export a file so you would have all of the columns and every thing laid out for you to add your info to.
