You have to either have your own certificate or if your hosting company has a shared cert you can use theirs. This is just as true for your admin, you cannot use a secure path without a ssl certificate. If you are processing payments offsite either with paypal or another processor then you do not absolutely have to have a ssl cert but having one will make your potential customers more comfortable doing business with you and probably will increase your sales. To add the paypal logo to your site you just need to add the code to whatever part of the site you want it to show up on. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem?
