Need Help in Northern NJ

I have a website that needs to be converted to an e-commerce platform and several hosting companies have suggested osCommerce. The site , www.ultimategarage.com , receives a lot of activity (3-5 million hits per month) although most of this traffic is from people looking for ideas for their garages. My hopes are that an osCommerce store on the site will encourage some of these visitors to do some online shopping during their visit.

 

 

I've just posted a brief overview of the project at http://www.ultimategarage.com/webcommerce.html . The budget numbers came from 2 former freelancers who said this was a very simple project....if it turns out to be something a lot more involved, we'll negotiate a weekly rate.

 

I would prefer to work with someone locally at my home office in Northern NJ for better communication of what I want and for possibly establishing a long-term business relationship. If the freelancer is into cars or tools/workshops, he or she might find the experience working here a bit more interesting (the property is wifi accessible and on nice days, you can work out here.... see http://www.ultimategarage.com/cambridgepatio2.jpg ). I'll even provide free use of the garage workshop (including the lift and chassis dyno) as an additional incentive.
