DJLTrading Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 hi can anyone tell me what kind of infomation to type in the conditions of use section? also, in my admin area it says i am not rpotected by a ssl secure? is this inportant or can i liv without it if it is vital then what do i need to do? also in the contact us section, is my webmail address already loaded onto it so that queries get sent to my webmail address or do i need to edit this to my webmail adress? what do i write in the privacy section? and finally how do i get a counter on my homepage so i can see how many people have visited? many thanks if any of the above could be answered.
DJLTrading Posted April 20, 2006 Author Posted April 20, 2006 hi agin, i also have another question, on my oscommerce website where i go inot modules, payment. where i select the payment methods. i have already slelected paypal but i dont quite understand the credit card section. i go onto it and the number for some reason is set to 4111111111111111. where do i type in my credit card information where the payments go. also i dont get the 'email split' part. please help

I would look at similar sites and see what kind of info they are using. Same for the privacy page. If you have a ssl cert you can change the first http: define in your admin/includes/configure.php file to your secure path and that will fix the problem. Once you have the store email setup in your admin that is all you need to do. The cc module is for people that process the cc cards manually ( with a cc machine) If you do not do this then do install the module. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem?
