box headings?

I added a banner to my store and then changed the template. After I did all that I checked the catalog and now the box headings look like this:

 

BOX_HEADING_CATEGORIES

 

And also the banner is gone does anyone know how I can fix this.

Anytime you see the caps like that you are missing the language definition. Check your english.php file

 

 

Is the banner still setup in the admin?

 

If so do you still have the banner code in your footer? If so does the group match the group in your admin?
