Help with adding scroll text applet to index

I want to add an image with a text scroll to my homepage.

Where would I upload the .class file and that image to?

Also, Will I still put the html code for this applet inside the hyphens of the

define('TEXT_MAIN', ''); ?

For example,.. does it supposed to look like:

define('TEXT_MAIN', 'La...La... applet html code..la..');

If you'll take my advice......don't bother!

 

Anysite I land on with an applet, which isn't many these days, I close it straight away.

 

Build an animated gif to do the same job or a flash movie.

It wouldn't matter where you put the class or jar files, so long as the base ref knows where they are.

 

If you only want it on your homepage, just embed it into the HTML in index.php
