Newbie - Product database

Hi

 

I have a website for selling my record collection. I have all the info in a mysql database and the asp page creates a table with all the info and that works so now I want to add a shopping cart using the same page but with an "Add to cart" button. I have installed osC and I am now stuck.

 

Can this be done with osC and is that in the Payment module? Also, I have the mysql database as a txt file with the "Insert into" statements. Can I use that or do I have to enter each one seperatly.

OSC is written as a complete shopping package. This means it includes a catalog and administration section for handling products and categories. It's not built as a stand-alone shopping cart.

 

You will need to enter all of your products in the OSC admin before you could use the checkout procedure.
