OSCCraig Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 I used a shopping cart for a couple years selling vitamins under a domain name which coincided with my business name. I now have closed the business and am opening up a nutritional practice and want to take the information from my previously used cart and put it under a new domain name which coincides with my practice name. How can I get this cart over to the new domain without having to reset hundreds of products??? I tried backing up the old cart and restoring the information to the new site but that didn't work. OSCCraig Posted April 3, 2006 Author Posted April 3, 2006 Did you edit your includes/config.php file ? - What I did was install the cart on the new website. - Then I backed up the old cart on the previous website. - Then I used the restore on the new website to restore the backup. When I went to the new website to view the cart, nothing showed but OSCCommerce generic cart. The config.php file wasn't touched. Could it have something to do with possible version differences - then again, I don't know what version the original cart is. Thanks, Craig
