I mistakeningly posted this question in a different post, so I'm reposting it here.

I installed the WPP module and it seems to be working great. I am trying to figure out if I also need to install the IPN module for backend integration and updates. How does the IPN related to this the WPP module? From the document it looks like I will have a 2nd PayPal payment option?

Can someone clarify?

Thanks

They don't work together. IPN is for when they are sent to PayPal and then PayPal sends your site a message about whether the transaction was successful or not. WPP does the entire transaction on your site making IPN unnecessary. The only advantage to IPN, AFAIK, is that chargebacks will be reported to your store whereas with WPP, they won't be.

Out of curiosity, which WPP module are you using?

Thank you for the clarification. With the Express Checkout option, they go to paypal to pay with their PP account. When they use EC, is there a need to pass back data from Paypal? (other than chargebacks)

Re: WPP, I'm using your version. It's only been installed for about a week, but so far, it's great. The documentation is thorough and the set up process was pretty straight forward and error free. Very clean!

Thank you for such a great application.
