bobg7 Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 I have been searching for the last few days for generic examples of OSC sql queries to output the results with no luck. Has anyone seen any generic examples of how to write the php scripts to do it. I ask because some of the contributions are made to collect information but fall short on how to display the information in a report or as a stand alone script. What I am hoping for are some examples of php scripts to pull data from a single table and output the results as well as pull data from 2 or more tables and output the results. Something that can be copiy/pasted into an editor, change the query to selected data and table(s) and list the results then save it for use. Jack_mcs Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 There are many contributions that do something similar to that. Look at any of the ones having to do with generating reports, or even the stock code for admin->reports for that matter. dynamoeffects Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Your original question is far too abstract. There are many tables with a complex set of relationships that you just learn through constant use. Your question is like asking, "I want to make my car better. Could you give me instructions on how to work on my car?" Do you know SQL? What information are you trying to gleen? I could write queries all day and it's very possible that none of them will be what you're looking for, so be a little more specific about what it is you're looking for.
