Default product weight

Hi

 

I want to set a default product weight of 1. I have table rate shipping by price but note that the shipping price does not come up in checkout unless the product has a weight. hence the default to 1!!

First backup your dbase then goto your phpmyadmin select the database your store uses and then run this sql

 

update products set products_weight = 1

 

It will set the products_weight for all products to 1.
