Enlarge Image link works intermittently

On my site i can click the "Click to Enlarge Image" link on some products and it works fine, on other products it just shows a small blank screen, no error or anything.

 

Tried a few resolutions on the forums but nothing seems to work,

 

any ideas

well i just found out what was causing it !!!

 

If the file i choose as my image representation for the product has the extension in upper case i.e.

myfilename.JPG instead of myfilename.jpg then the system wont show the popup image !!!

 

easily remedied, but just wandered how i can make the code case insensitive to the extension ???
