I'm having a hard time with this one - is there a Category contribution that can display categories like this static page:

On the left, you'll see Lotuspike Artists, with the respective artists underneath. I'd like to be able to show all of the categories expanded, with just the individual artists. Once one of those is clicked, an info page displays with the artists' bio and some reviews. I suppose this can just be a static content page.

Not exactly sure what you mean about the categories expanded but if you are listing the artists as sub categories then yes, there is a contribution for that.

 

You can also install one of the many contributions that gives you a way to add category descriptions which you could use for the bios and reviews.

 

Try doing a search in the contributions area for category descriptions and category tree or menu tree.
