Guest Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Whatever you do, dont get drawn into random advertising absolutely everywhere, it will just drain your pockets very quickly. As far as most cost effective goes, read up on seo. It takes a little while, but when you get it right, the traffic is free, and much greater than banner ads would generate for you. Alternatively, highly targetted phrases on search engine advertised slots work fairly well (adsense etc), or purchase advertising space on similar themed sites. You may also want to consider setting up an affiliate scheme which is part of a larger network (there are a lot of affiliate networks out there which seem to work failry well) - on this basis you will only actually pay when a sale results. Everyone seems to view the internet as instant, but (with a few notable exceptions) setting up in business takes time. You need to develop a strategy and work on it over a period of time. If you got 500 sales tomorrow, would you be ready for it? Would you be able to service the supply and customer care on that many orders? I doubt it. Better to elt your business grow at a steady rate. Sure, go get some advertising, but dont throw thousands at it, because if it works it could do more damage than good.

Well man why don't you try to find for a site that offers free advertisement so that you don't have to spent lot of money just to post your advertisement, but you can still post it. Actually I was also looking for a place where I can put my advertisement, alot of site offer advertisement but with pay,but fortunately there was one site that I found worth posting. I had post advertisement on that site and take note I also uploaded images for my products,this site offers free advertisement at the same time with image without having me to pay... mpiscopo Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Realfreeads? Hmm... Not only is the page rank one, but I couldn't find one ad on the site. I don't think you'll get any traffic from there, seems to be a new site with no visitors.
