Bulk loading of images.

Hello all,

I have been using oscommerce for a few years and for the most part am happy with it. To see how we have been using it (very basic) please visit lepowphoto.com

 

The focus of the business is changing a tad bit and things are starting to unravel. For some events we are going to be selling burnt cds of images to racers in triathlons and running events. Up to this point our products only came in 3 sizes, 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10 prints. We are not selling prints from these events, ONLY the burnt cds.

 

I need to know, and have searched the contributions area already, hence this post,

 

Images need to be listed by the racer's name, so right now I am doing a new product listing per racer for each person, VERY TIME CONSUMING. You can see this at lepowphoto.com/cart, no photos yet because the race has not taken place.

 

I want to put the proof image in a folder with their name as the name of the folder, upload the folder of folders (maybe 1,000 folders inside the master) and then have all of those images show up for the particular event. The racer would still need to be able to find their proof photo via the search function.

 

I hope I have stated that pretty clearly. I have no problem getting a database of the racer's names to upload, but need to know if OSCommerce can handle the batch upload of folders and sort them out in the particular event.
