samsam5 Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Hi, This is my second go at making an oscommerce site, this time on a bluehost server. I have installed the catalog files successfully, but i cant seem to remove the warning below. Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file. I have tried chmod the file to 400, 644, 444, but nothing seems to work. I am using smartftp2.0 Thanks for any help, i know this is probably a very simple solution, but a frustrating start for me.

There is also and admin configure file that should be set to 644. If that doesn't work there are other issues causing your warning. - Joe
