Good day all

I have been playing with osCommerce last few days and although I have had a few hickups most things seem great.

Next step I have is SSL Cert.

I have come to the conclusion that this is not something free and will have to be paid for. Could any one recomend a good comapny to buy one from.

My Intial thoughts were to check out verisign, but the prices are quite steep. My problem is that I am want to set up an online store, but not sure if I am going to make any money so I don't want to go out an spend a fortune on something and then not be able to cover the cost.

I assume the will have to be some risk taking as in any buisness, but any information from the forum on best place to buy best pricing would be great.

Thanks

Alexis

I know a few people that have recomended www.rapidssl.com to me so I had a look on the net and there doesnt seem to be any bad reviews about them only possitive. So I went to there site to buy one and they start at $70. Which at the time I didnt know how much they should cost so just went looking around at other prices when I stumbled upon the below website where they are doing an offer of a rapidsll certificate for $14 for a year. Anyway I gave it a go and once it was paid for on the below site the rest was dealt with direct to rapidsll.

Seems to be a very good offer. Perhaps someone will give there own review of them when they read this but like I say I have only heard good things about them so far.

I am having a couple of problems getting it to work but I think it is just something I am doing wrong as this is the first time I have purchased and tried to install my own certificate.

Great!

that pricing is real good. It is great compared to the ?500 odd pounds verissign suggested me.

Thanks alot for this.
