It is set to calculate based on weight. - 1:3.00,3:5.50,7:11.40,12:14.70,20:21.35 I have products that I want to put as 0.05 lbs, and I test it out, but the shipping comes out to $11.40. I tried putting 1 and 3 for the weight, but it doesn't work. I also tried changing the table rate to 5:11.40, and then it goes to the next rate - 12:14.70. What gives?
Maggilove Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 I suspect it is calculated correctly. Have you set the tare weight to zero in admin > configuration > shipping/packaging? I believe the default setting is 3... if you haven't altered it, that will be added, making the total weight 3.5 lbs, which per your table would be charged at $11.40... :)
