Kenja Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 I'm writing a contribution that will automatically create an OSC order when a paypal payment is made through ebay. Anyway, PayPal sends me the state and country codes of the buyer. Rather than try to reverse engineer the zone_id from the state value through the zones table, I'm wondering if I can just set it to zero. What is the zone_id used for? Just shipping? For creating drop down menus of states? Am I going to have problems if I set it to zero when I create the new customer?
