run2web Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 We want to remove the stock availability from the cart. For the business we have we do not need to keep track of the stock. Is there a way to remove this from the cart? We will want to keep track of what has been sold though. Just hangin' out in the zoo!

They're pretty much self expanatory but the two you'd want most would be 'Check stock level' and 'Allow Checkout'. Mainly set Allow Checkout to true, you can also set Check stock level to false. I think if you set Allow Checkout to true, and leave Check stock level true, it will display out of stock in the store, but allow checkout even if someone adds it to they're cart. With it false, it won't even display that message. Obviouslly, many ways to check what has been sold. The Reports->Products Purchased in the default setup, and various contribs for more detailed stats and such.
