EasyPhp localhost problem

Any help appreciated!

Get the following when trying to access admin on localhost:

Warning: main(includes/classes/navigation_history.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in d:\easyphp1-8\www\catalog\admin\includes\application_top.php on line 127

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/classes/navigation_history.php' (include_path='.;D:/EasyPHP1-8\php\pear\') in d:\easyphp1-8\www\catalog\admin\includes\application_top.php on line 127

Installed EasyPhp 1.8, can access catalog but not admin.

Also,

How does one set file permissions on localhost?

First time installing on local machine with Windows XP os.

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: d:/easyphp1-8/www/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

All new to me.

Searched online and os Forums found out to check configure.php or check file permissions.

Any help aprreciated!

For anyone who may be interested:

Solved both errors by installing a fresh pristine

catalog\admin\includes\application_top.php file.

Haven't figured out the permissions thing yet but will post when I do.

I would suggest to anyone getting similar errors with these or other files

to rename the offending files and then install fresh unaltered versions of the same.

Basically corrupted file problem (at least it was for me.)
