ODBC error

hi,

 

i'm quite new to this os commerce. although i've hada good knowledge and comments about what os commerce does i have never tried it install.

 

anyhow i have installed the package on the server and have also setup the databse in access (.mdb)

 

however, i am now faced with the following problem: (pls see link)

is this a hosting issue (shall i upgrade my hosting?) or a databse problem?

The main point to make is that it states quite clearly in the requirements for using osCommerce that you need to set up a MySQL database before starting the install. Access is not compatible with osCommerce, neither is MS SQL.
