tango472 Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 hi, i'm quite new to this os commerce. although i've hada good knowledge and comments about what os commerce does i have never tried it install. anyhow i have installed the package on the server and have also setup the databse in access (.mdb) however, i am now faced with the following problem: (pls see link) http://www.olympicgames-2012.co.uk/catalog...tall.php?step=2 is this a hosting issue (shall i upgrade my hosting?) or a databse problem? pls help and thanks in advance. rdb

♥Vger Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 The main point to make is that it states quite clearly in the requirements for using osCommerce that you need to set up a MySQL database before starting the install. Access is not compatible with osCommerce, neither is MS SQL. Vger
