scottsw Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 I have a downloadable zipped product that is going on sale TODAY and when I download it it gives me an error " The compressed (Zipped) folder is invalid or corrupt." I have tried "saving file as" to desktop, and opening directly upon download and neither option works. Any suggestions? I am using Windows XP. Thanks.

Assuming that the zip was complete to begin with, it sounds as though it's managed to corrupt itself during the download. This does happen from time to time and is normally fixed by re-downloading it again. Hope that helps, Ali.

Well posting a link to a downloadable product is out of the question as it would defeat the purpose of selling it :) There are utilities that do allow for repair of zipped archives.. do not know how thorough they are and what the content of the archive are.. ie: if music it may not be in perfect format whereas an e-book might not be effected. scottsw Posted April 2, 2006 Author Posted April 2, 2006 I tried downloading several times but get the same error. I had my brother download it and he got the same error also, but it works on different operating systems except for Windows XP. Any help would be appreciated.
