reducing the number of product columns....???

hi,

 

i have reduced the number of catagory icons shown down to 2.

 

but when you click the 'show manufacturers items' link i get a whole list of items by that manufacturer.

 

my problem is that i only want 2 per row instead of the default 3.

how do i reduce this amount?

i want it to have 2 per row then infinate rows of products.

 

i am using centre shop etc but because the images are large its pushing my border way out...

Just a quick reply. Yeah, I know how, but I'm at home and my files are at work.

 

I'm assuming that you mean for the 'What's New' table on the index page. You have to alter one of the php files so that the column count is diff. If you PM me, I can find the code tomorrow and send it to you. I took my site from the standard 3 x 3 to a 3 x 2 so that there's less scrolling for the index page. I experimented with a 4 x 2, and it looked fine on my monitor (1280x1024), but on anyone with 800x600 it looked really crowded.
