In my catalog it displays the product price with tax included, however in my admin it displays the product price without tax - can anyone explain why this is happening? Just as example (with 10% tax): Catalog would display product price as: $33 Admin would display product price as: $30 Any ideas? its really frustrating... Thanks

custodian Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Are you trying to determine why the catalog has tax? Or are you wanting the tax turned off for display (but still included in total?) If you go to Admin, Configurations, My Store in the list you will see Display Prices with Tax true If you set this to false, the tax will not be displayed in the catalog and will match the price in the admin, but tax will still be added during checkout (if you have it set up and the tax is applicable to the sale) My Contributions Henry Smith

ZEROmedia Posted March 27, 2006 Author Posted March 27, 2006 yeah, seems to be - the funny thing is that the tax works in the catalog but not displayed in the admin - so say if i go to add a special when i edit the special price it edits the Net Price, not the Gross Price..

I do have the 'Display Tax Prices' set to true
Guest Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 the tax on the osc admin specials page won't display because there is no code for it. Also even if it would display you would only see it for your store's tax zone. Because customers depend on the zone when they create the account. Therefore you would need lots of code changes to add tax zones for every product's related script on the osc admin end.
