lexpumpwebmaster Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Hi .. I also am a bit of a newbie... I know html inside and out for the most part and am just beginning to get comfy with css but php is pretty new to me.. I figured out which file to change and where -- to get my main catalog page not to have the default instructions on it. . I figured out all the point and click stuff like adding catalog items and deleting country codes I don't need and other stuff.. but.. after I changed my main part of my first catalog page the footer and the what's new for March and the right column with the cart and reviews and languages etc all disappeared.. that is one problem the other problem is that when you click on some of my catagories.. NOTHING happens.. the new page loads without displaying any of the pictures of the catalog items.. thus you can't order the items either.. when logged in as admin the items are in the catalog.. and one can click "catalog" on the admin part to add items or categories or edit.. etc.. but when one actually goes to the catalog to shop, they won't show up.. it shows the number of items . but the items won't show.. I still have tweaking to do with colors and such because I am not real happy with the color -- I wanted green and it's too green.. I have to figure out how to put an image in the background instead of just a color.. but that sounds like it might be a matter of checking out the css file. is someone wants to check out what I mean.. any help will be VERY appreciated.. Thanks a ton.
lexpumpwebmaster Posted March 26, 2006 Author Posted March 26, 2006 www.PiperRusticFurniture.com/catalog is the correct URL.. sorry.. the previous post didn't get the catalog in the clickable part.
PiperRustic Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 FIXED The images in question needed to be resized... they were too large and it was causing the pages not to load including the footer, what's new and right column on the initial page.. seems fine now -- yeah!!
