warrenerjm Posted March 26, 2006 Author Posted March 26, 2006 You downloaded the whole lot but then deleted the shop folder, that was the original folder the problems started with. Yes?Then you restored it, from the recycle bin, back to the place on your PC where you had deleted it from. If that is true and in case there is a setting on your FTP client that will download all folders, which maybe why you are uploading the backup folder; Right click on the now restored shop folder, select cut, get out of the backup folder, right click and copy to wherever you are now. Now you should have the shop folder on it's own. Connect by FTP and upload that shop folder to your document root on the server. Alternatively; While connected by your FTP client, right click on the shop folder that is in the shop.backup folder, see if there is a 'Copy' option. If not look at the tool bar at the top of your FTP client, you will have Edit or Commands, whatever is there, look for a Copy option within. When you find the option, highlight the shop folder, Copy, come out of the shop.backup directory, into your root, right click or Commands Paste into the root. Thank you very much for helping me spax. Our posts overlapped. I am such a novice! I understand now & have the right shop in the root now. I can breath again. Really appreciate your help. Julie
warrenerjm Posted March 26, 2006 Author Posted March 26, 2006 I think you're having a laugh! Don't understand your last comment, but I can assure you I wasn't laughing. This really got me upset as I didn't know what FTP, PHP & everything else meant 12 weeks ago. I am working really hard to learn not only how to amend OSC but what everthing means. That is why I am very grateful to everyone who takes time to help me when I get stuck. Julie
