opsrcs Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 I am relatively new to OSCommerce and extremely new to Easy Populate, and I am running into some snags. Snag #1: I see references to an easypopulate.pdf file that contains instructions on how to use this mod. But I have turned this site upside down looking for it. Anyone happen to have a copy around? I eventually found an old install doc that showed me what folder to put it in (admin) and how to get the link working in the admin/catalog window. It now generates errors when I try to run it (see below) Warning: main(includes/functions/easypopulate_functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages/29/d158453103/htdocs/catalog/admin/easypopulate.php on line 51 Warning: main(): Failed opening 'includes/functions/easypopulate_functions.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /homepages/29/d158453103/htdocs/catalog/admin/easypopulate.php on line 51 Any pointers on getting me past this error would be greatly appreciated. Im going to save the rest of my snags for another post once I get past this one. Quote

It should be in a similarly named location in the contribution files Edited March 25, 2006 by T_love Quote
opsrcs Posted March 27, 2006 Author Posted March 27, 2006 Everything to date has been the -default- installation so I'm not sure why files would not be in the correct folders. Should I change the path to fit the file or move the file to fit the path in the error message? Quote
opsrcs Posted March 27, 2006 Author Posted March 27, 2006 One other thing... there are at least 30 different versions of easy populate, which one should I be using? Quote
opsrcs Posted March 27, 2006 Author Posted March 27, 2006 Figured out the problem: I D/Ld Easy Populate 2.74-MS2 and replaced the 2.79b I had gotten earlier and everything seemed to have corrected itself. There should be a way to clean up the d/l list yes? Quote
