account activation (please help)

HI,

 

How can is setup an email confirmation, like for example when a new user registers he has to go to his email and activate his account (like this forum) so i am sure that he has given me the correct email adress??

 

I tried to find the solution by my self but unfortunatly i couldn't...

 

any idea's? please hekp me with this one...

There is an Activation Code for Registration contribution (Activation Code)

 

I have installed this contribution on my website but still receive errors on it. It allows you to create an account but when you are supposed to get the Successful Account Creation screen....it's blank and says "Done but with errors" in the bottom left of the screen. You still receive the email and when you click on the link you get the same page for the Activate Account page. I'm looking for support on this contribution so that I can get all the bugs worked out.

 

A good thing about it is that you can disable it in your admin panel so that you don't get errors when someone tries to create an account without the required activation.
