Guest Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 actually i think its something to do with the osCsid, hmmmm any suggestions?
Guest Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 hi, it is becos of wrong configuration of the shopping cart link in the header. the sessions are not passed and so it logs you out and the cart contents is dropped. cheers ---------- a private message. I dont understand why it works if the oscID is in the link and not if not, id rather just use cookies, but it comes up with an error when i force cookies?
Guest Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 FIXED *** all i did was add this php to each of my href links <a href=<?PHP echo tep_href_link('specials.php'); ?> class=ch3>Specials</a> this now used this osCid and stores the session

Steel Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 you specialize in custom designs and features of oscommerce and don't know why this is happening ? Do you spend all day just going around giving people a hard time? If this person knew the answer then why would they be posting the question here?!?! Oh wait, they answered their own question, guess you're just out luck with your rude comments!

Oh wait, they answered their own question, guess you're just out luck with your rude comments! I just find it ironic when someone tries to sneeky advertise their specialized oscommerce services ( in the post now edited by moderators so you may have missed it) by asking such a fundamentaly simple question. As such my question as to how this can be was reasonable and your reaction a little less. Treasurer MFC

If this is the case, then I would then like to apologize to you because I did not see the original post, and only saw the edited one. From the way it appeared, you where flaming someone for just asking a question. I hope you understand where I was coming from in light of the way things looked. Steel
