hungryhippo8 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Hi there, I'm having a problem with my set up of OSC. Please visit the store: http://www.urbandogwalk.com/ As you can see I have two language options, English and Traditional Chinese (Big5). However, when I navigate the site the contents jump between the 2 languages. I have no idea where to nail down the problem. Could it be a problem with the Chinese contribution? Maybe issues with sessions? On top of that, I can't complete a purchase because the pages are jumping around. Sometimes I get redirected to the login page after I create an account or confirm the mailing address. I think I completed a purchase once or twice, but a store like this can never go live. All these things are happening randomly and there is no way I can reproduce these problems (Like I click "home" several times and the language changes after each try. However, when I do it again a few seconds later, the language stays the same...). Please let me know if you can offer any solutions. Thank you in advance. Peter

Peter I just clicked on every link you've got and nothing changed I then choose the Chinese and clicked on every link you had and it maintained the language. Then I went back to English and did it again. And it worked fine I'd say it's in your system, maybe cached pages in your browser. Clear out all history files, cached pages, etc... close the browser and open it again and see if it still does it. Also, possibly try another browser (FireFox or it that is what you are using, then try IE) Also see what it is like on another system - as I said.. it perfectly fine for me. hungryhippo8 Posted March 28, 2006 Author Posted March 28, 2006 Thanks custodian. I tried to access the site with Firefox and IE, cleared cache, history, cookies etc to no avail. I also used both of my computers and came up with the same result. After a few frustrating days I just wiped the store and did a fresh install in another server. And what d'ya know... it works now. I guess I'll never know what happened, must be something funny that happened during the first install. Thanks again. Peter
